Trach Care Training

We offer tracheostomy care training to healthcare workers who work with patients who have a tracheostomy tube, such as nurses and respiratory therapists.

It consists of a combination of classroom education, hands-on practice, and competency evaluations. Case studies or simulations may also be included in the training to assist healthcare personnel in developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Continuous education and training are required to ensure that healthcare personnel retain their expertise in tracheostomy care and are up to date on the most recent evidence-based techniques.
